Melanie Hammett
Creating works that people love to look at in their life spaces. This devoting gesture has infused the brush of Hammett on her journey. “I think of my work as an evolution... a journey with no defined destination as there is always so much more to learn through experimenting with ideas, techniques, and mediums.” Established, best known for her realist modern still life paintings and more recently with a melody distinction of impressionism. Hammett knew she wanted to be an artist early in life. Her work is represented in private and corporate collections throughout New Zealand and the world.
