Matthew Williams

William’s passion for architecture and design can clearly be seen in his work.  He pushes the boundaries of materials he uses with high quality creative design result.  Working with a range of both natural and man-made materials he explores form in its fundamentality.  Strong lines and sweeping curves create a mesmerising quality.  Explaining his work process Williams summarises with “well formed ideas implemented in a logical fashion”.  Reflecting on his inspiration he responds “everywhere ideas form without warning and often in odd places”.  Williams focuses to achieve a sense of balance and weightlessness with his work (often with heavy materials).  His works are held with collections in Dubai, (including the collection of the Crown Prince of Dubai) UK, Canada, and New Zealand.
